Terms & Conditions

HelpMeTest is a QA automation platform. It opens real browsers in the cloud, navigates your application, and runs automated tests on your behalf. These terms govern that relationship.

What HelpMeTest Does

When you use HelpMeTest, you're directing cloud browsers to load URLs and interact with web applications. The platform records those sessions so you can replay them. It stores test configurations, browser authentication states, and test results associated with your account.

Authorized Use

You may only run tests against applications you own or have explicit permission to test. This means:

  • Your own applications, staging environments, and test deployments
  • Third-party applications where you have written authorization from the owner

Running tests against applications without authorization — including competitors' sites, public services, or any system where you haven't been granted testing access — is prohibited and may violate computer access laws in your jurisdiction.

HelpMeTest is a testing tool, not a scraping or load-testing tool. Don't use it to extract data at scale, simulate traffic volume, or probe applications for vulnerabilities you have no authorization to find.

Your Account

You're responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your credentials secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at contact@helpmetest.com immediately.

You can have multiple team members under one company account. Everyone operating under your account is subject to these terms.

Test Data and Recordings

Session recordings may capture content from the applications you test — including any user data those applications display. We store recordings for 30 days, then delete them automatically. If you're testing production environments with real user data in them, that data may appear in recordings. We recommend testing against staging environments. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle this.

Authentication states (saved login sessions) are stored encrypted and only used to run your tests.

Billing

Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis. Unused test runs don't roll over. If you downgrade or cancel, you retain access until the end of your billing period. Refunds are handled case-by-case — contact us if you have a billing issue.

What We Don't Guarantee

HelpMeTest runs real browsers against real applications. We can't guarantee that every test will catch every bug — tests are only as good as what they check. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. If a cloud browser provider has an outage, our test infrastructure may be affected.

We provide the platform. The quality of your test coverage depends on how you use it.

Limitation of Liability

HelpMeTest's liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages — lost revenue, lost data, or business disruption — arising from use of the platform.

Termination

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly unauthorized testing. We'll give notice where practical. If you want to close your account, you can do so from your dashboard or by emailing us.

Changes

If we make material changes to these terms, we'll email registered users. Minor clarifications go up without individual notice. Current terms are always at this URL.
